Bluff Prairie Surveys

I’ve arrived in Winona, MN to do the “eastern part” of the bird survey work. I’ll be based here for at least the northern surveys. The bluff country is so beautiful!

I think my feet are sweating quite a bit in my waterproof knee-high boots, but I don’t mind it. They’re perfect to otherwise keep dry in the tall, dewy grass…well now that I type that out, maybe it’s a bit ironic?
